Former Congress MP Frida Topno dies at 92

ONI Bureau: Former Lok Sabha/Rajya Sabha MP from Odisha and Congress leader Frida Topno passed away in Bhubaneswar at the age of 92.

Topno was a Member of Parliament twice in 1991 and 1996 from Sundargarh Parliamentary constituency. She was also elected to the Rajya Sabha from Odisha in 1998

Her last rites will be held in her home town Sundargarh. PCC President Prasad Harichandan has condoled the demise of Frida Topno and hailed her as a dedicated soldier of the party. Union Minister and BJP MP from Sundargarh Jual Oram also condoled Frida Topno’s demise.
