Former Orissa HC Chief Justice VA Mohata passes away at 85

ONI Bureau:  Former Chief Justice of the Orissa High Court V. A. Mohata breathed his last on Tuesday evening at Akola city in Nagpur.  He was 85.

Mohata served as Chief Justice of the Orissa High Court from September 28, 1994, to April 25, 1995.

It is to be noted that Mohata recommended the name of Dipak Mishra as a Judge, who is now the present Chief Justice of India.
