Four Hard Core Criminals arrested in Nabarangpur

Nabarangpur-RobberyThe Nabarangpur Police arrested four members of a gang and have recovered weapons, including pistols, bullets and two bikes from their possession on Friday while they were preparing to commit robbery in Khatiguda area. Those arrested have been identified as D.Ajay alias Rajendra, D.Rabi alias Shiva Pradhan, D.Madhu alias Ramesh and M.Suraj Rao alias Chinna.

Giving further details, Superintendent of Police Parul Gupta said that they are professional criminals and committed motor bike theft and snatching in various parts of Nabarangpur, Umerkote, Khatiguda, Jeypore,  Pursottampur, Rambha and Chatrapur of Ganjam, and Icchhapuram, Sompeta, Jarumuru, Pathapatnam, Srikakulam (Andhra Pradesh), Jagadalpur (Chhattisgarh) and other parts of India.

The police recovered one 7.65 calibre pistol and four 7.65 calibre bullets, one Bhujali, one sharp edged knife, three mobile handsets, two motercycles obe Bajaj Pulsar and one Bajaj Discover, with cash of Rs. 3,700 from them.  Gupta further said it’s a great success of Nabarangpur police and the special credit goes to Khatiguda police she added.

In another case police arrested two bike looters Judhesti Gouda and Tilak Ram Horijan of Dangara under Kodinga police limit and recovered two stolen moter cycle from the accused persons. Among others, Addl. SP Pinak Mishra, Town police IIC Ramesh Bissoiy and other police personnel were present at the press meet.
