Ganesh Idol Immersion: Curfew reimposed in Soro over Communal Violence

Section 144 of CrPC have reimposed in Soro town in Balasore district on Tuesday following severe group clash over Ganesh immersion.

Over 19 platoons of security force have been deployed in the town to maintain law and order.

Balasore SP Niti Sekhar said that, curfew to stay in force at Soro today from 6PM to tomorrow 6AM to avoid any untoward incident.

It have been decided by the peace committee that remaining Ganesh idols will be immersed between 9-11 am tomorrow.
