Gang-rape victim kills self in Odisha’s Sambalpur

ONI Bureau:  Violence against women continues unabated and often grows worse day by day in Odisha.

Again in an unfortunate incident, a 15-year minor girl who was allegedly gang-raped in Sasan area of Sambalpur district, committed suicide by hanging herself on wednesday evening.

Worth mentioning, the girl was gang-raped on May 3. Sambalpur police had arrested six persons including a a 13-year-old juvenile in this case, further investigation is on.
