Girl Power shine at 46th Ekamra Walks in Bhubaneswar

Insight Bureau: The 46th Ekamra Walks, the only guided heritage walk of the temple city, had many foreign guests on Sunday – 10 from France and 1 from the USA. In total, 90 heritage lovers took part in the tour and 60 of them were girls.

Major chunk of Girl Power came from the Bhubaneswar-based ICICI Academy of Skills. According to the organisers, girls accounted for over 50% out of more than 2,400 walkers who took part in all 46 editions of Ekamra Walks.

Last week, Mayor of Cupertino City in the USA, Mrs. Savita Vaidhyanathan participated in the Ekamra Walks and appreciated the girl power.
