Govt appoints DN Gupta as CEO of Odisha

Senior IAS officer of 1989 batch Odisha cadre DN Gupta has been appointed as the Chief Electoral Officer, CEO, of Odisha.

The Election Commission of India has accepted the recommendation of the state government on the appointment of Gupta as CEO.

Mr. Gupta, presently posted as Special Secretary, Planning & Coordination Department, will take charge of his office from his predecessor Dr Mona Sharma.
