Health Minister visits Chennai to take stock of Parala Maharaja’s Health condition

Odisha Health Minister Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak will visit Chennai on Thursday to take stock of the health condition of the Paralakhemundi Maharaja Gopinath Gajapati Narayan Deb, who has been admitted to the Apollo Hospital in Chennai.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday announced that the State government would bear all medical expenses of Paralakhemundi Maharaja.

Notably, Parlakhemundi Maharaja was put under house arrest for over two years by his lady manager Ananga Manjari Patra and her brother. Later, the king was taken to Vizag on Sunday and then shifted to Chennai for treatment.
