Hi-Tech Medical VC Tirupathi Choudhary arrested on fraud charge

ONI Bureau:  Tirupathi Choudhary, Vice Chairman of Hi-Tech Medical College and Hospital and one of the Directors of Hi-Tech Group, has been arrested by the Jharkhand Police in a fraud case on Tuesday.

As per the charges, Tirpuati had taken Rs 5 lakh from one Ramdhar Prateek of Bokaro area in Jharkhand in 2013, promising him admission into MBBS course.

However, he failed to facilitate Prateek’s admission into MBBS course.

Ramdhar Prateek registered a case against Choudhury in Dhanbad to get his money back as he did not get admission.

Based on the warrant, the Jharkhand Police yesterday arrested Choudhary from his office.

Worth mentioning, Tirupathi Choudhary, is a relative of Hi-Tech Group MD Tirupathi Panigrahi.
