Hockey India likely to shift National Camp from Bengaluru to Bhubaneswar

ONI Bureau:  In a bid to habituate the Indian team with the conditions of the Capital City ahead of World Cup, Hockey India Federation is likely to shift the Indian Men’s Teams National Camp from Bengaluru to Bhubaneswar.

Before taking a final decision on the shifting plan, India hockey coach Harendra Singh will visit Kalinga Stadium on September 10 to take stock of the infrastructure and other facilities available at the venue.

The first four-week camp, beginning on September 16, will continue till October 18.

The 14th edition of the Hockey World Cup is scheduled to be held from 28 November to 16 December 2018, at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar.
