IED launches 9-month Diploma Courses in Odisha

IED, OdishaInstitute of Entrepreneurship Development, IED, an Institute of Odisha Government’s MSME Department, on Wednesday launched 9-month Diploma Courses in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Import & Export Management, Materials Management, Port & Shipping Management on technical Collaboration with Leelabati Institute of Foreign Trade (LIFT).

Chief Guest of the programme Shri P. Das, Secretary, MSME Department, Govt. of Odisha shared his dynamic knowledge as well as his innovative ideas with the participants. He triggered on to create new entrepreneurs & utilisation of Central Government’s and State Government’s flagship programmes i.e. Make in India & Digital India campaign.

Inaugurating the programme, Shri M. K. Sahu, Sr. Faculty cum Course Director welcomed the dignitaries to the function. Shri K. K. Sahoo, head, FIEO, Odisha Chapter shared his experience in the field of Export business. He also committed to extend handholding support to those who are interested to start their export business.

Guest of honour D.Krishna Rao, Incharge-Odisha Project, Container Corporation of India Ltd. told about the programme & emphasised on Infrastructure Development & creates employment generation. He also suggested that the classes should be Practical oriented so that the participants will be exposed to practical experience rather than theories.

Another guest, Sri. Anadi Charan Roul, Manager, ECGC Ltd. deliberated t how the insurance would help to the export business.
