Illegal Construction: Odisha Court issues notice to Sura Baba, 20 other

Trahi Achyuta AshramBhubaneswar, Oct 20: The Odisha Development Authority (ODA) Court of Bhubneswar Development Authority (BDA) has issued notice to  Surendra Mishra alias Sura Baba and 20 others over illegal construction of houses in the premises of Trahi Achyuta Ashram at Jhinti Sasan in the outskirts of the city.

Serving the notices, the ODA has asked Sura Baba to appear before the court on October 28.  The houses in the Trahi Achyuta Ashram spreads over around 14 acres of land. It is reported that some houses in the premises were build without getting approval from BDA. Following the violation rules in constructing houses, the court issued notice to the chief of the Ashram and 20 other persons.

Notably, Sura Baba and his two sons were arrested August 31 from the premises of the Trahi Achyuta Ashram  that came under the lens of suspicious following the arrest of two Bihari criminals, who were staying here in disguise for 17 years.
