Independence Day parade full dress rehearsal held today

Ahead of the 70th Independence Day celebrations, a full dress rehearsal of the State-level Independence Day parade took place on Saturday with the presence of DGP KB Singh, DCP Satyabrata Bhoi, Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Commissioner of Police, Yogesh Bahadur Khurania, and other senior police officers.

Meanwhile, adequate CCTV cameras, bomb detection squads and sniffer dogs would be deployed along the parade venue.

Notably, the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is scheduled to unfurl the National flag at Bhubaneswar. The CM also announced the name of Ministers who would do flag hoisting in 18 district headquarters on August 15.
