India successfully test-fires Agni-IV from Odisha Coast

agni-iv-2The 4000-km range nuclear weapons-capable strategic missile, Agni IV successfully test fired from Abdul Kalam Island in Odisha at 11. 50 am on Monday.

The missile was developed by the the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).

This is second user associate launch from the Wheeler Island and the sixth test of the missile.

Agni-IV is a two-stage, surface-to-surface missile that is 20 metres long and weigh of around 17 tonnes.
