India successfully test-fires Supersonic Interceptor Missile off Odisha coast

ONI Bureau: Achieving yet another milestone in missile defence, India successfully test-fired its Supersonic Interceptor Missile on Abdul Kalam Island off the coast of Odisha on Thursday.

According to the Indian Ministry of Defense (MoD), the indigenously developed missile that test from the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO)’s test range, is the Advanced Air Defence (AAD) missile capable of destroying any incoming target with a direct hit at low altitude.

This is for the third time the missile test launched reportedly.
