India successfully test-fires Twin Trial of Prithvi-II Missile from Odisha

India on Monday successfully test-fired twin trial of the all-new nuclear capable Prithvi-II missile from a test range at Chandipur in Odisha.

Prithvi-II has an extended strike range of 350 km and is capable of carrying 500 to 1000 kg of warheads.

The project was monitored by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and the launch activities were carried out by the Strategic Force Command (SFC).
