India test fires Nuclear-capable Agni-I Missile off Odisha coast

ONI Bureau: India successfully test-fired indigenously developed short range nuclear capable Agni1 ballistic Missile from Abdul Kalam Island off Odisha coast in Balasore on Tuesday at 8.30 AM.

It was 18th version of Agni-I, conducted by the Strategic Force Command of the Indian Army, from launch pad-4 of the Integrated Test Range (ITR).

Designed and developed by Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Agni-I possessing a range of 700 km, can carry payloads up to 1,000 kg.
