Infighting reported in Odisha Congress; 12 MLAs camp in Delhi

Chiranjib-BiswalHeavy infighting has been reported within the Odisha Congress, which came as a big jolt to new PCC President Prasad Harichandan, who has been trying to bring unity among the party leaders and cadres.

At least 12 MLAs led by Chiranjib Biswal, have gone to Delhi to meet the High Command and express their grievances. Other MLAs of the “rebel group” include Naba Das, Prakash Behera, Dr. Prafulla Majhi, Anshuman Mohanty, and Devendra Sharma.

Meanwhile, Leader of Opposition in Odisha Assembly, Narasingha Mishra has expressed ignorance about the development. “I have no such information that any MLAs have gone to Delhi to meet the High Command. They did not inform me while going to Delhi”, he said.
