Intense cold wave likely to grip Odisha from Jan 5

ONI Bureau:  Odisha experienced intense cold in the past few weeks as the cold wave is blowing from north-east direction.

As per the prediction by MeT,  more cold wave is likely to grip entire Odisha from January 5.

The mercury is likely to be dropped below 10 degree celsius in many parts of the State. While the minimum temperature plummeted to 7 degree celsius at Phulbani, it was 8 degree in Daringbadi, Sundergarh was recorded 9 degree celsius, Hirakud 9.7 degree and Keonjhar 10.3 degree celsius, Bhubaneswar MeT Director Sarat Chandra Sahoo informed.
