ITC Food Park to be set up in Khurda @ Rs 470 Crore

On a day when Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi slammed the BJP-led NDA Government of playing vendetta politics and cancelling the proposed mega food park in his constituency, Amethi, the Odisha Government has announced the setting up of a food park in Khurda.

The ITC Food Park will be set up at a cost of Rs 470 crore. The state government will provide 30 acres of land for the project. It was announced by IDCO CMD Vishal Dev.

In addition, a Steel Plant Equipment company will be established in Khurda. The state government will provide 14 acres of land for this project. The government cleared land allocation for 27 new and 22 old projects.
