Itishree Murder Case: Ex SI Netrananda Dandasena gets life imprisonment

Rayagada District and Session Court on Tuesday have declared life term to the Schools Inspector (SI) Netrananda Dandasena in Itishree Pradhan murder case.

The 28-year old lady teacher was set ablaze after pouring kerosene on her in the premises of the school on Oct 27, 2013. The Tikiri teacher Pradhan was killed under very mysterious conditions.

The cause of her murder is that, she had filed complaint against Schools Inspector for seeking sexual favour and exploiting her. The State government had ordered a crime branch probe into the death.
