Jala Chhatra (Free Water Kiosk) by Aaradhya Charitable Trust

ONI Bureau: The members of Aaradhya Charitable Trust (ACT) on Sunday started “Jala Chhatra” (Free Water Kiosk) at Puri Canal Road in Bhubaneswar. The Jala Chhatra will run till month of summer season.

Rabindra Patra, a resident of Hanspal will take care of the Jala Chhatra and will provide drinking water service to the roadside thirsty people.

Aaradhya Charitable Trust (ACT) is a registered voluntary organization, doing different philanthropic works to help the needy people.

The Trust started a free coaching centre at Jharigam village of the tribal dominated Nabarangpur district to give additional education to the needy children on regular basis, who are deprived of this facility due to lack of money. As many as 60 students are getting free education there.

The organization is organizing free health camps for poor people, Jala Chhatra (Free Water Kiosk), Blood Danationa Camps and provided relief materials. ACT also distributes clothes to the slum dwellers, blankets and winter wears to the homeless people every year who lives life in the extreme winter season at the road side.
