Jay Panda devotes 90% of MPLAD Funds to Rural Drinking Water Projects

ONI Bureau:  Kendrapada MP Baijayant Panda popularly known as Jay Panda had recommended 90% of his total MPLAD funds (RS 19.25 cr) for rural drinking water projects, a national high”.

Earlier on last month Jay Panda inaugurated MPLAD-funded drinking water projects (1,00,000 litre capacity) in Andara panchayat of Kendrapara district.

As per report, as many as 20 MPs, irrespective of party affiliations, for drinking water under MPLAD in State in 16th LoK Sabha till date has been below 1% of their total MPLAD recommendations.

Panda has nurtured his constituency and spent a lot of time with common people. Besides being active in Parliament and in his constituency, Baijayant ‘Jay’ Panda has been championing several key initiatives.

His efforts towards raising key social and economic reforms both inside and outside the Parliament is highly praised.
