Jharsuguda Airport become operational by June 2018

The Chairman of Airport Authority of India (AAI) Guru Prasad Mohapatra on Friday informed that the Jharsuguda Airport will be fully operational by June 2018.

Speaking to media persons Mohapatra said, around Rs 200 crore will be spend for the modernisation of the airport and two aircraft terminals will be made in Jharsuguda airport.

Reportedly, Jharsuguda Airport will be made operational as the second commercial airport of Odisha.

AAI Chairman also confirmed that 11 aircraft bays will be constructed in Bhubaneswar Airport at a cost of Rs 100 crore.
