Jual Oram asks Naveen to return unutilised funds sanctioned for MFP procurement

ONI Bureau:  Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram on Monday wrote to Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, asked him to fix Minimum Support Price (MSP) of minor forest Produce and return the unutilised funds provided to the State under a central scheme to undertake procurement operations.

It is to be noted that State government was provided Rs 49.41 crore under the scheme of ‘Mechanism for Marketing of Minor Forest Produce (MFP) in 2014 but in the last four years, only Rs 3.80 crore procurement conducted by the State Government, Tribal Affairs Minister blamed.
