Kalyan Jewellers Inauguration in Bhubaneswar postponed to June 14

Due to unforeseen reasons, Kalyan Jewellers, one of the India’s trusted jewellery brand, postponed its inauguration till June 14, 2015. It is believed that the decision was taken because of the Maggi Noodles controversy, whose Brand Ambassador Amitabh Bachchan is facing legal hassles.

Amitabh Bachchan, along with Telugu Superstar Nagarjuna, was slated to inaugurate Kalyan Jewellers on June 5. However, as a Bihar court sought FIR against him and others for endorsing the controversial Maggi Noodles product, he may not want to move our of Maharashtra till the issue is settled down.

Maharashtra has already given clean chit to Maggi Noodles. The Odisha Government has sent the samples to Pune Laboratory for testing. In Odisha, Kalinga Sena has decided to oppose Big B’s visit to Bhubaneswar. Amitabh, Nagarjuna and Aishwarya have been the Brand Ambassadors of Kalyan Jewellers for long.

Some other people believe that Kalyan Jewellers want to take maximum mileage of the inauguration by doing on Raja Festival, which falls on June 14.
