KCR meets Naveen; bats for Federal Front

ONI Bureau:  Telangana Chief Minister and TRS president K Chandrashekar Rao on Sunday started a mission to form a new political alternative (Federal Front).

Rao met BJD president and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at Naveen Niwas in Bhubaneswar on Sunday to build a consensus on brining regional parties together.

“There’s a dire need for the unification of regional parties as there’s a strong need for an alternative to Congress and BJP”, said KCR.

He said that Country needs a change for which they have just begun the dialogue.

Both the leaders have discussed on Polavaram issue and women’s reservation in the Lok Sabha and in the State Assembly. However, KCR said he supports the move of Odisha Govt on 33% reservation for women in Parliament and State Assemblies.

Telangana CM also praised Naveen Patnaik for his recent KALIA (Krushak Assistance for Livelihood & Income Augmentation) scheme for farmers and other social welfare and development schemes.
