Kharabela Swain indicts Odisha CM, seeks his Resignation

Former Lok Sabha MP and President of Utkal Bharat, MA Kharabela Swain has lashed out at Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik following the Orissa HC verdict in Praksh Mishra. Kharabela has directly put the blame on the CM, saying he pursued a vendetta against the former Odisha DGP.

“As the High Court clearly ruled against the state Vigilace department and observed that Prakash Mishra was unfairly targeted by the ruling establishment, the CM has lost the moral right to continue in office,” said Mr. Swain.

Referring to Prakash Mishra’s charges of ‘cash flow’ during the 2014 elections, Kharabela Swain said that now the BJD and its chief stand exposed in the public. He sought a high level probe into the allegations levelled by Prakash Mishra.
