KISS, Bhubaneswar achieves 100% Results in +2 Exams

KISS StudentsThe Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) has posted 100% percent result in Science, Commerce and Arts streams for the 7th year in a row in +2 Examinations conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha. Result of the examinations was declared on June 1, 2015. Out of about 1200 students from the institute who appeared and passed the examination, a large number of students achieved 1st and 2nd division, according to the sources.

It is encouraging that the pass percentage of girls is higher than boys. Also students from primitive tribal group like Lodha, Bonda, Kutia Kondh, and Dongaria Kondh have passed in Science, Commerce and Arts streams. It is a rare feat to educate and groom tribal students from remote areas of the State and enable them to achieve cent percent result every year, opined intellectuals. The state’s overall pass record is 76%.

Expressing satisfaction over the result, Dr. A. Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS said that continued success of KISS students year after year has been possible only due to blessings of God, continuous effort of teachers, staff and Chief Executive Officer of KISS. This astounding performance is not seen in tribal schools anywhere in the world. He congratulates each and every pass out students and wishes them a bright academic career ahead.
