In a major achievement, Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS), in Odisha is ranked 223 among the top 500 NGOs in the world as published by NGO Advisor, an independent Geneva-based media organization.
KISS was selected out of thousands of NGOs for its outstanding impact, innovation and governance. These criteria relate to the three pillars of interest – impact, innovation, and governance.
“It is also among the top 10 NGOs in India. Earlier, KISS had just made it into the list of top 500 NGOs in 2016”, said KISS founder Dr. Achyuta Samanta.
