Koraput Congress MLA Krushna Chandra Sagaria quits post

ONI Bureau:  Congress MLA from Koraput Krushna Chandra Sagaria on Tuesday formally submitted his resignation letter to Odisha Assembly Speaker Pradip Kumar Amat.

Sagaria had announced his decision to quit from the membership of Legislative Assembly last month on moral grounds citing upset over denial of justice to Kunduli gang rape victim. But said to reporters that he will continue to be in the party.

Sagaria had contested in 2014 assembly polls as a Congress candidate and was elected to the Odisha Legislative Assembly from Koraput Vidhan Sabha constituency.
