Kunduli Case: Odisha Congress’s protest in Delhi enters day 3 today

ONI Bureau:  The family members of Kunduli victim, Sasmita Chhati and the SC and ST Cell of Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee launched an indefinite agitation at the Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on Tuesday demanding a CBI probe into the Kunduli case.

Many congress activists including former Nabarangpur MP Pradeep Majhi and Koraput MLA Krishna Chandra Sagaria started the indefinite agitation.

They alleged that the Odisha Government has failed to give justice to the 14-year-old girl who was allegedly gang raped by a group of security personnel and denial of justice she hanged herself. The State Govt is trying to suppress the matter slowly, they said to newsmen.

They also need justice for Abinash Munda of Bhalupali village, who have detained for suspected involvement in a theft case, was found hanging with a bed sheet inside the lockup of Ainthapalli police station. Their party will continue the stir till Sasmita Chhati and Abinash Munda get justice, alleged Majhi while speaking to the newsmen.
