Kunduli Gangrape Victim alleges Police Harassment

Insight News Desk: The Kunduli gangrape victim, who was being treated at Saheed Laxman Nayak Medical College & Hospital in Koraput, has been discharged today. She appeared in the JMFC Court in Koraput to record her statement under Section 164 of the CrPC.

The victim, while appearing in the court, made sensational claims that police are harassing her family members and relatives as well as the villagers, leading to her mental trauma.

Despite the public outrage, the accused are yet to be identified, forget about their arrest. The victim had alleged that 4 people in BSF uniform had raped her. However, the BSF has already denied all allegations and hinted at Maoists’ involvement, which was strongly denied by the red rebels.
