Kunduli Row: Congress blocks NH; BJP calls for 12 hr bandh Tomorrow

ONI Bureau:  Following the tragic death of Kunduli gangrape victim that shocked the State on Tuesday, locals staged road blockade on NH-26 near Kunduli Chhak in Koraput district demanding justice.

Many Congress leaders including former Nabarangpur MP Pradip Majhi joined the protest.

Reportedly, kin of the deceased including congress leaders took away the body from hospital, not allowing the doctors to conduct post-mortem.

Meantime, BJP also called for 12-hour bandh tomorrow in undivided Koraput district demanding Odisha Government to recommend CBI probe into the incident.

It is to be noted that the minor girl of Sorisapadar village in Koraput district was allegedly gang raped by a group of security personnel and denial of justice she hanged herself at her house yesterday.
