Lakhs of Devotees witness Bahuda Yatra in Puri

Lakhs of devotees thronged Puri on Thursday to witness the Bahuda Yatra of Lord Jagannatha, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra.

The three deities were taken to their respective chariots from the Gundicha temple after the Pahandi ritual by servitors.

The deities were on a nine-day stay at Gundicha temple. All chariots reached near Singhadwara in thursday evening.

The day after Bahuda, today the deities would be decorated with Sunabesha or golden attire on the chariots which attracts thousands of devotees across the country and abroad.
