Lightning kills Engineering Girl student in Dhenkanal, 5 others injured

ONI Bureau:  An engineering girl student died and five others sustained injuries in lightning strike at Karanda under Hindol Tehsil in Dhenkanal district today. The deceased has been identified as Kalpana Nayak.

The incident occurred when all the six girls were going to have lunch during the break outside the College campus.

Reportedly, all girls are students of second year Civil Engineering branch, of Pathani Samanta Institute of Engineering & Technology.
