Orissa High Court ordered the subordinate courts to operate for an hour daily from April 20 because of the extension of the nationwide lockdown.

The court ordered the subordinate courts to have the morning sitting from 9 am to 10 am while those having no morning convening will function from 11 am to 12 pm. Throughout this one hour, the lower courts can take up critical criminal matters like remand, production and bail.
