LPG Refill Supply delayed in Bhubaneswar @ Bharat Gas

It’s an irony that while Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan promise the moon to the people vis-a-vis LPG Supply system and also driving the rich, affluent as well as the middle class to give up subsidy, the system remains in a mess.

In Bhubaneswar, delivery of the LPG Refill Cylinders are taking longer than expected. The distributor has not been able to give any satisfactory reply to the questions. While we are raising the issue related to Bharat Gas, situation is no different for others too. Is there is a real crisis or the hoarding and illegal sale of LPG are on the rise again?

The LPG Refill was booked with Varsha Enterprises, Sahid Nagar on 27 July, 2015. It has not been delivered yet as of 14 August, 2015. When contacted, the distributor said that it would be delivered on Monday. It will be around 21 days when the Refill will be finally supplied to the consumer.

It’s high time Mr. Narendra Modi and Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan as well as the state governments order a probe into all such irregularities, which we are sure, could be the phenomenon across the country. Formulating policies is definitely a welcome step, but helping the people on the ground, will remain a big challenge. If that happens, then only people’s aspiration can be fulfilled.
