Lulu Mohapatra remembered on his 1st Death Anniversary

Insight Bureau:  People cutting across party lines on Monday observed first death anniversary of late veteran Congress leader Lalatendu Bidyadhar Mohapatra alias Lulu Mohapatra at different places.

The Odisha unit of Congress and BJP separately observed the first death anniversary of Lulu Mohapatra.

Lulu Sena members also gathered at Bindu Sagar in Bhubaneswar and observed the Tila Tarpan ritual. OPPC President Prasad Harichandan, former PCC Presidents Niranjan Patnaik, Jayadev Jena and others congress leaders attended a state-level programme in Bhubaneswar.  Paying floral tributes to Mahapatra, Prasad said Lulu Mohapatra was the soul of Congress and the party will be strengthened with the ideology of lulu.

Meantime Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Dharmendra Pradhan paid floral tributes to Mahapatra at his ancestral residence at Gadarodanga.
