Mahanadi Row: BJD fact-finding Team submits Report to Odisha CM

The 12 member fact finding BJD delegation which have visited Chhattisgarh to take an on-spot assessment of the ongoing projects over Mahanadi upstream, on Sunday submitted its report to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

Industries Minister Debi Prasad Mishra and BJD Rajya Sabha member Prasanna Acharya submitted the report to the CM.

Notably, the team, headed by Rajya Sabha Member Prasanna Acharya, includes the Finance Minister Pradip Amat, Industries Minister Debi Prasad Mishra, Food Supplies Minister Sanjay Dasburma, Mangala Kishan, WODC Chairman  Kishore Mohanty, Pramila Mallik and Raseswari Panigrahi and others.

The team held discussion with the concerned department and officials of the Chhattisgarh government regarding the ongoing Mahanadi river dispute between the two states and have prepared report according to that.
