Maheswar Mahapatra elected as Rayagada Bar Association President

Rayagada, Jan 25: During the election held at Rayagada Bar Association on last Friday, Senior Advocate Sri Maheswar Mahapatra was elected as President. He won by getting eighty five votes out of total one hundred forty two member advocates in the bar association. Sri B. Kumarswamy, who was contesting him, trailed behind him by getting fifty votes. Sri Sunil Nayak as Secretary, Sri Nila Bisoi as Joint Secretary, Sri Y. Srinivas as Vice-President and Sri R.Ramakrishna as Treasurer won in the election. Members of Zilla Sambadika Sangha have congratulated the newly elected body and assured them to collaborate with them to uphold justice for the needy.
