Mahima Mishra’s remand put on hold

Paradip Police on Thursday morning said that the four-day remand of OSL MD Mahimananda Mishra was put on hold on health grounds.

Earlier, on Tuesday Kujang Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) Court  rejected the bail plea of Mishra and aide on Seaways Shipping GM Mahendra Swain murder case and granted a 4-day remand of the accused.

But yesterday, Mishra was admitted to Jagatsinghpur District Headquarters Hospital due to high blood pressure and chest pain and Basant Bal is still undergoing treatment at the SCB Medical in Cuttack.
