Man arrested for filming Girl at Bathroom of KIIT Hostel, Bhubaneswar

Mobile Video Recording reported at the Bathroom of a Girl’s Hostel, KIIT University yesterday. The accused Rakesh Padhihari, who recorded the video of a girl through the Bathroom Window, was overpowered and handed over to Infocity Police.

The cops initially did not cooperate, but were forced after the students staged demonstrations. The accused is from Barang area and worked as a contractual labourer.

Security need to be tightened across all Girl’s Hostels in Odisha and Bathrooms must be made tamper-proof. It’s a very sensitive issue.
