Maneka Gandhi addresses at National Law University Odisha

ONI Bureau:  The Union Minister for Women and Children Development Maneka Gandhi addressed a conference at National Law University Odisha (NLUO) in Cuttack on Tuesday.

The two-day National Conference on Animal and Environmental Welfare that started today will continue till tomorrow.

During the discussion, chief guest and keynote speaker Maneka Gandhi spoke on the Wildlife Conservation, Animal Laws, interconnected relationship between animals and human beings and their habitats. Also discussed how the survival and welfare of animals determine our survival.

In her media interaction, the Minister said, “Cattle smuggling threatening to our system. Cattle smuggling rampant in Odisha and a large amount of cattle are going out of Odisha to Andhra Pradesh ad West Bengal everyday”.
