Manoj Sinha reviews performance of East Coast Railway

Union Minister of State for Railways and Communications Manoj Sinha today laid foundation stone of the improvement of the circulating area of Puri Railway Station.

Shri Sinha reviewed the performance of the Railway and the progress of various infrastructure related projects which are crucial to the industrial development of Odisha.

Besides, the Union Minister visited the native place of prominent freedom fighter of Odisha Chandan Hajuri, popularly known as Chakhi Khuntia in Puri and paid tribute to the statue of Utkalamani Gopabandhu Das at Sakhigopal as part of the BJP’s ’70 Saal Azadi-Zara Yaad Karo Kurbani’ campaign.

Notably, Sinha had visited Odisha in December 2015 and again in April 2016, and advised for speedy completion of pending Railway Projects like Khurda-Balangir line. He has laid highest emphasis on passenger amenities at Stations and on-board services on trains.
