Manoj Sinha to lay foundation stone of Railway Circulating Area at Puri
Shri Manoj Sinha, Hon’ble Minister of State for Communications (Independent charge) and Minister of State for Railways, Govt of India will visit Puri on 20th August 2016. During his visit he will lay the foundation stone of the improvement of the circulating area of Puri Railway Station at 3.00 PM.
Shri Sinha is expected to review the performance of the Railway and the progress of various infrastructure related projects which are crucial to the industrial development of Odisha and Northern Andhra Pradesh. He gives importance to local aspirations and needs of various regions with focus on connecting unconnected regions.
Shri Sinha had earlier held review meeting in East Coast Railway in December-2015 and based on the feedback he received from East Coast Region, a number of positive policy measures were immediately initiated by Ministry of Railways.
Shri Sinha had taken special interest and assured that funds would not be an issue for any Railway Project in Odisha. His visit to Puri is being eagerly watched by all Rail observers. This visit to East Coast Railway assumes significance in the context of the importance of the East Coast Region for Railways.
