Maoist couple surrenders before Police in Malkangiri District

A Maoist couple who was involved in around 150 cases, surrendered before the police in Malkangiri district today.

The duos were identified as Sukhdev and Rukmini and were carrying a cash reward of Rs 5 lakh and Rs 4 lakh on their heads, respectively.

As per the information, around 150 cases involving that of murder, landmine blast, abduction and attack on police were pending against the couple in different police stations.

Sukhdev was an active maoist and worked as the commander of Malkangiri division, while Rukmini was said to be the woman commander of Baipariguda Maoist division.
