Dr. Sailesh Mishra is the first Odia to be administered the Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine.
He is working as a consultant anesthesiologist at the NHS, UK and was given the vaccine yesterday.
He released a video message confirming getting the shot.
UK has started administering vaccine outside clinical trial.
A 90-year old woman Margaret Keeman became the first person in the world to receive the vaccine.
