Mercury rises to 40 deg C; Odisha reels under intense Heatwave

ONI Bureau:  Heat wave-like conditions prevailed at several places across the State as the mercury crossed the 40-degree celsius mark on Wednesday for the first time this year.

As per report, Titlagarh recorded 40.5 degrees celsius followed by Sambalpur 40.3 degree celsius.

Likewise, Talcher recorded 39.9 degree Celsius, Anugul 39.7, Malkangiri 39.6, Bhubaneswar and Baripada had recorded 39.4 degree C, Balangir 39.3, Jharsuguda 39.2, Hirakud 39.1, Sonepur 39.0, Dhenkanal and Bhawanipatna had 38.0 degree Celsius reportedly.
