ONI Bureau: As #MeToo movement continues in India, allegations have surfaced this time against well-known artist Jatin Das.
Jatin Das, a Padma Bhushan awardee and father of actor and writer Nandita Das was accused today by conservationist Nisha Bora and Journalist Anushree Majumdar of molesting them.
Two women took Twitter to share their ordeal in which they narrated the harrowing details of their molestation experience at the hands of Jatin Das.
It deeply pains me that such an allegation has been made against me. All I know is that I have never behaved abusively with anyone, eminent artist Jatin Das said in response to the allegations.
Jatin Das, a painter and sculptor from Baripada in Mayurbhanj district has been painting for 50 years. He is the founder chairman of the JD Centre of Art (JDCA) that located on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar.
